One less thing that can break on the thiccest GBBR known to airsoft
It's fairly common to see APFG XM7 outer barrels to snap, right at the tip of the threads. This is because they are made of a weak zinc alloy, so the second you add weight to them (for instance using a tracer unit or suppressor) they snap clean off. Bristol Based Airsoft saw this issue very early on into batch 1 of the APFG XM7 release, and immediately went out to make a sturdy steel replacement. The snapping issue is now a thing of the past thanks to this fantastic chunk of metal.
You will need to transfer some parts from your old APFG gas blow to the BBA one. Luckily, BBA made a fantastic video showing how simple and easy this process is here.
